One recent heat wave, my husband and I walked into our house which was almost 90 degrees.We were bringing our daughter home from the burn center at CHOC. She had 3rd degree burns and we were desperate to have her cool and comfortable. I called Cool Air Technologies at almost 6 p.m. They were fully booked for the night. When I explained the situation, Trish (the owner's wife) called Bill on his cell phone. He came over almost immediately. It was a simple fix and he barely charged us anything. We were so desperate, he could have charged us a thousand dollars and we would have gladly paid it. We were so grateful for his kindness and his honesty. My mother has a home in Laguna Woods retirement village that had an air cooling unit from the 60's that was not efficient or effective for cooling or heating. Since last winter she has either been in the hospital or assisted living with a variety of life threatening problems. I didn't make a decision to install central air and heat as I didn't know if she would be coming home. Her strength of spirit has enabled her to go home and I had to get the air conditioning installed quickly.

This is where Cool Air Technologies came to the rescue! Between Trish, Bill and Terri, we nailed down the pricing, contacted the City of Laguna Woods as well as the management company for the Laguna Woods Village for the permits and met with Bill and his installer for placement of the ductwork, unit and all its components -- all in less than two weeks!

Bill and his crew were on the job by the next Tuesday and finished it by Friday! I was amazed by the speed, professionalism and organization that it took to complete the job - and they were so nice!

I highly recommend their services and would use them in the future!

From the return phone call and speed of response to the final stage of installation I was completely satisfied. Bill, the Owner, was pleasant and professional. He explained the process of the job and why I needed the unit size that he recommended. (I had been given a much larger estimate by another local company) The installers were very easy to work with and were careful to prepare the house to protect it from dust, etc.

I would recommend Cool Air Technologies to those people who want good value for their money and the high standards that are so lacking in some services. I actually realized a $2000 savings over the other estimate!
